Sarah Kohlsmith is the Remote Sensing Coordinator for Suncor Energy Inc., with over 12 years of combined experience within GIS and Remote Sensing Profession. Since graduating from the University of Toronto in Economic Geography, and completing a Masters in GIS at the University of Calgary, she has worked supporting integrated types of oil and gas production including upstream, midstream and downstream. Connecting with people, understanding business processes and solving spatial problems for a wide variety of business teams has provided exposure to many different business units across Suncor, including exposure to the full life cycle of assets. Facilitating the management and usability of high resolution data from Drone acquisitions has been an exciting new area of work. Sarah has a broad company perspective on geospatial technology and its uses today.
