FAA officials have been steadfast in their claims that a universal remote identification (Remote ID) system is needed, and plenty others have mentioned that it is critical for the industry at large to move forward. Creating a Remote ID solution that answers the simple question of, “who’s operating that drone?” will help everyone become familiar and comfortable with the technology to open up countless opportunities with it. Remote ID Panel Discussion

Although drones have been a welcoming addition for many different industries, they have also created problematic outcomes in various situations. Advanced hardware and software solutions have helped to create a critical awareness of the airspace so that the right people can have a better understanding of unauthorized drone activity. This session will explore what kind of options currently exist with drone security and how organizations are working to detect, identify, track and interdict unauthorized drones.
